Amazon payment services, the payment processing service based in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), has launched a new FinTech lab, according to a report by Arab News.
Called the Amazon Fintech Lab in the innovation hub of the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC), it will be used as a way to spark discussions about the world of digital payment as well as the future of the FinTech industry. It is part of the Dubai Future District announced in January 2020 by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
